Ianto flushed. He was still sort of tipsy from earlier, and the force of his emotions at that moment were pretty intense, to the point where he wasn't sure whether Sulu was playing dumb, or whether he really didn't know what Ianto was trying to get at. He ducked his head against the side of Sulu's head, burying his face in the other man's hair for a moment. Ianto shifted slightly, gripping Sulu's hand back gently, reflexively, as he tried to think of how best to phrase this.
"Or... We could... Do something else," Ianto said, haltingly. "I mean. I'd like to stay here, if that's alright. Since we're here anyway, but. I thought that maybe. We might want to... Y'know." God, where had all of his liquid courage gone, he wondered. He felt rather ridiculous for not being able to just come out and say it. "If you're interested, that is..." he said, in conclusion.
