Ianto watched Sulu taking measurements and readings from the plants, wondering not only what sorts of things he might have been measuring and recording, but also at what sort of device he was recording and measuring with. He'd never been formally introduced to what a tricorder was, after all, and even though he'd heard mention of the name and seen them around, he hadn't the faintest idea what they were or what they did.

Of course, any question of that nature was put on the back-burner as Sulu spoke up with that last sentence. "'If you find something really exciting,' huh?" Ianto asked, raising an eyebrow and quirking a smile. "Tell me then," he said, standing back and smirking down at the other man.
