The frantic nature of Sulu's gesturing, the presence of the rash on his arm and the look on his face all came together in a way that made Ianto snap out of his stupor. Yes, the pollen was potent, but terror was an excellent way to sober up, and fast. He finally registered that Sulu pushing at him wasn't anything to do with the nature of their sudden moment of intimacy. That the other man was covered in a red rash that hadn't been there not a minute earlier, Ianto was sure, and that he wasn't panting because they were rutting together. Ianto had pulled back, away from the other man, tearing himself off of him, and now he recognized that he was pretty much gasping for air. Like he was drowning except they were out of the water now, and he really shouldn't be making sounds like that.
Ianto let out a noise of terror, reaching out to cup the other man's face. "O-oh, oh my god, Sulu? Sulu??" He tilted Sulu's head back, opening up his airway as much as he could, but it was obvious that that wasn't doing much at all. Ianto's heart was in his throat, his pulse racing, now from the adrenaline of fear rather than any sort of arousal that was lingering underneath that. "Shit! God, shit!! I..." Ianto cast a frantic look around. Sulu wasn't looking any better. He wasn't looking very good at all, and he sounded absolutely horrible, and Ianto's mind worked frantically to try to get on top of things. There wasn't anyone there to call, there wasn't anyone to save them, they weren't going to get anywhere on time and Ianto had no idea...
The kit. Sulu was motioning to the kit. Lightning fast, Ianto was up and tumbling toward it. There had to be something in there, some sort of...god, who knew at this point? Ianto turned the entire thing upside down, emptying its contents onto the ground as he desperately searched through it for whatever it was that Sulu seemed to be motioning towards.
