Ianto wasn't sure whether Sulu'd told him about the drill or not. He remembered the other man mentioning something about a fear of heights after a fall, and fighting Romulans on a drill, but the two pieces of information had never been put together in the same sentence and Ianto really wasn't together with it enough to make the connection himself in that moment. "You're going to need to explain that to me, sometime," he said, knowing like Sulu that this was definitely not the time to try.
"But you're right," he said, with a smile at the way he could hear that Sulu was almost passed out right there. "We'll figure it out. When we wake up." He tightened his grip on Sulu's arm where he had his hand, not wanting to move any more than that, even if a kiss would have been nice. "Sleep well," he said softly, feeling like goodnight wasn't really the right thing to say when they were planning on just napping for a few hours.
