Usual tagging times/pace: EST - I try to get tags done once a day but weekdays are definitely harder than weekends.

Backtagging: I will always be up for back-tagging!

Fourthwalling policy: I'd prefer if you asked for permission first, I think. I can see Doctor Who being a well-known series no problem but Torchwood is definitely a little more case-by-case.

Action vs. Prose: I prefer prose but I can write either/or!

IC PERMISSIONS

Physical Violence: I'm very comfortable writing physical violence (if you know Torchwood, you know what sort of perils the team gets themselves into each week...)

Mental Information: Ianto is at times balanced on a knife's edge when it comes to his mental stability. He's not really the most positive person, and he can tailspin pretty easily depending on the circumstances. THAT BEING SAID I'm definitely comfortable threading with empathic characters, just be forewarned he is not always as well-put-together as he appears haha

Physical Affection: OOCly I say go for anything. ICly, Ianto is awkwardly British and not very touchy-feely. He's probably in need of a good hug every now and again, and he's not blind to attractive people, but unless he's really comfortable with his body around a person (ie. if you are Jack Harkness) he is going to be awkward lmao

IC Triggers: Oh man triggers for Ianto are random and varied. Robots, marriage, the future, relationships, family, basically asking him personal questions in general may or may not get a poor reaction or a lie, depending on the circumstance.

Relationships: DEFINITELY interested in friendships. Familial-type relationships are more difficult because of how closed-off he is but he's still open to them (this is more something for team Torchwood and people of a similar role in his life). As far as romantic relationships are concerned though, Ianto is currently off the market.

If yes, please state your preferences: M/M and M/F both! I don't have a kinklist as of right now, but Ianto is kind of particular on the situation and the partner anyway. He definitely has a pretty hard line of no younger than 18 -- in truth he likes people that are closer to his age (or older...)


POWER-SPECIFIC AND/OR SPOILER PERMISSIONS

As of August's newest batch of refugees, Ianto has gained the power of empathy, or more specifically the ability to read other people's emotions through touch. Ianto's powers are specifically skin-to-skin. Initially he will only be able to read other people's emotions but given time, and training he is going to gain the ability to ease or remove emotions from others and siphon them onto himself instead. Similarly, given training he will learn how to force an emotion of his own into another. This will always be restricted to something he is already feeling himself (i.e. he can never hurt anyone more than he is already hurting).

I will always let you know when Ianto intends (or doesn't intend, it has a certain margin of error to it) to use his power on your character but please also let me know if you would rather opt out and Ianto will keep the contact to a minimum!
