Ianto waited with Akihiko for a while longer, before speaking up again. "Jack, we're going to put you to bed, alright?" Jack vaguely acknowledged Ianto's words, and only responded with a nod. Ianto nodded over to Akihiko. "He's no help, we'll have to do it between us," he said. He put one of Jack's arms around his shoulders, his other arm around Jack's waist. "Alright, up we go!"

Between the two of them, they got Jack settled on the bed. Ianto made sure that he was lying on his side and moved the wastebasket over beside him before turning and walking out of Jack's office, waiting until Akihiko was out after him before shutting the door behind him. He took in a breath and let it out slowly. "Of all the things that I thought would happen today, this certainly is not even close to being one of them."
