Akihiko threw himself back, trying to block the blows. A few landed, but he didn't take too much damage before firing his Evoker again and blasting the main shadow with a powerful bolt of lightning.

He knew that Ianto's shadow was the target. And if he knew shadows, he knew that if he killed the duplicate, he'd only see it summon a fresh one. He had to concentrate on the main target and try to ignore the weaker one.
