Sulu nodded at Ianto's mention of water, smiling at him as he left to talk to Jack. He wasn't really thirsty, no. But, he really could do with some unhaunted faucets for once. So, he moved to the sink, turning it on to splash some water on his face, running his hands through his hair. It wasn't doing much, and he could feel the sticky dryness of blood on his chest and cheek, but it made him feel a little better. At least he knew that it wasn't as bad as it had been - and now that he was coherent enough, he was able to recognize just how much he'd bled.
No wonder Ianto had been so worried for him. He should have realized - the whole time, he'd figured it just wasn't that bad. He did that all the time, it was easier than realizing how out of his depth he was. He shouldn't have done that to Ianto, either, because it just wasn't fair to him. Sighing, he wiped water from his eyes and turned off the sink, leaning over it briefly. Man, he'd acted like a real jackass.
When Ianto called to him, he reached for a towel, hesitating before deciding against using one. Ianto probably didn't need bloodied dishtowels lying around, after all. He turned and ran his wet hands through his hair instead, frowning as they came away with a tinge of pink. "Yeah," he said, glancing up and managing a bashful smile, "Uh. Think I could use your shower?"
