"I know you don't," Sulu said quietly, "I know you don't want to hurt either of us. But... he deserves to know that you're not feeling better." He knew that the other man was not going to take it well; without any way to fix it, Sulu thought the mere thought that Ianto was getting worse instead of better might send him into a state similar to how he'd acted after Ianto had died.
