"Definitely less of an acquired taste," Sulu admitted, knowing full well that the ginger tea he swore by wasn't always the easiest thing to drink. Still, it was useful - but not as useful as the tea he was about to make for them. He didn't say much about their situation until after he found the bottom stair, too focused on the idea of not falling over to really engage in much more conversation than what they'd already had. Once he found his footing, though, he paused to shift Ianto against him, craning his neck to give Ianto's hair a brief kiss.
"Okay, then. Do you want to be in the kitchen, or... I'm going to be making some toast for you, so maybe we should hang out in the kitchen until Jack gets here." Not to mention, it would be a safer place for them to be. If they were in the main sitting area, Jack would be more likely to reach the front door before Sulu could stop him, after all.
