"It's alright," Sulu said honestly. "I understand. Work isn't going to stop because of this, and if you want to get Torchwood back up on its feet..." If Jack wanted to get it back up on its feet. "You're going to need to invest time in it. Ianto will understand that too." He knew Ianto would - they both had to know that, right? Ianto was as passionate about his job as Sulu was; at least, that was how it had always seemed, though Ianto was much quieter about it.

"I'll keep in touch and make sure you know what's going on. If you want to come see him, I'll make sure I can arrange a time for you to do that, between what you have to do and what McCoy will have to do." He almost asked then what Jack would do, if this did work - which it would, damn it - about Ianto and Torchwood. Would he try to get him out of it before it even started again? Or would he accept the fact that Ianto, probably the most stubborn out of the three of them, wouldn't let go of his job without one hell of a fight?
