"If I reacted this poorly to you trying to be nice about waking me up, shoving at me will probably end up with me knocking you out, or something, and then where will we be?"
He turned around, facing forward once more, unconsciously moving to put a hand on Sulu's thigh. "I'm not complaining about the fact that you're calming me. I like that you are, and I like that it works. I just... I'm hoping it doesn't end up having to become a habit, I guess. But really, you're right. It's just something to tell McCoy about, and then he'll adjust the medications, and I'll once more be able to sleep through the night without waking you up like this, or without having to sleep through the day as well..."
