[RL WITH SULU][backdated to 03-20] Shoreleave: Part 2
Ianto had thought that one day on the planet had been exciting enough, but the prospect of another, when Sulu had mentioned it, had been too good to pass up. They'd had such a nice time on the beach, after all. It was only fair that they do a little exploring, let Sulu look for the alien plants that he would want to and get to watch the other man geek out about something for a while. Ianto himself had been embarrassingly excited about the planet and the beach and all the previous day, after all. It would be nice to be able to be the one to sit back and watch the excitement on someone else for a change, reverse roles from the previous day.
They hadn't gotten too early of a start. After all, this was a vacation for the pair of them, and it wouldn't do to have to wake up in the wee hours of the morning (if there were such a thing in space, Ianto didn't really even know). But they gave themselves the better part of the day, and after having a bite to eat (Ianto wasn't sure he would ever get enough of being fascinated with the replicators), and a quick stop by Ianto's flat for more clothes for him (he needed long pants if they might be venturing into the jungle, after all, it was only practical) they found themselves beaming down to the planet again, Sulu with his kit and Ianto with...well. The clothes on his back, really. He didn't really have anything to bring along himself, since they were mostly going to be exploring inland this time.
Ianto looked up at the clear blue sky above him, and smiled at the fact that even the weather seemed to have adjusted so that it was cool enough for him to be comfortable in jeans, but not too cool that it wasn't still pretty warm. "...god," he said. "It's like this place is gorgeous every day." He shot a smile sideways at Sulu. "Better not let me visit for many more days, I might want to stay," he joked.

"What d'you think, would it be worth looking into?" he asked, moving forward and starting to work his hands through Sulu's hair, the motions equal parts shampooing and massaging as he did so. Sulu'd scared him a little earlier in the day, he hoped that he wouldn't mind the doting on him because of that.

"Yeah, I think that'd be worth looking in to. I'm not sure how I'm even supporting myself right now, honestly. You practically turned me completely boneless, with the way you were touching me back there." He cracked open an eye enough to look up at Ianto, "Not to mention, some of the stuff you were saying. I liked that, too. Using your voice against me and all."
no subject
"Or just leave you like that, which I'm not sure which'd be worse, having to wait it out or needing medical help." He laughed, slightly. "I was pulling out all the stops. I'm... I'm honestly glad that you're not telling me it sounded ridiculous, really..."

Leaning his head into Ianto's hands, he closed his eyes to keep from getting anything in them and continued, "And I wouldn't be the first person to show up in medical with an allergic reaction to pollen like that. For some stupid reason," he chuckled, "People like to roll around in the stuff without thinking about whether or not they're allergic. I have no idea why."
Sulu knew his shower well enough to be able to reach over, filling his hand up with shower gel, lathering it briefly between his hands before bringing them around Ianto's sides, up to his back. He figured if Ianto was helping him, the least he could do was return the favor.

He shifted slightly, so that Sulu was more in the path of the spray as he started to wash the shampoo out, careful not to get it in Sulu's face too much at all. "Guess I'll have to learn to take advantage of that, then, if you like the way I talk so much," he said, with a smirk of a smile. "...I wasn't kidding, you know. With the things that I said... I." He laughed. "I think it'd be rather fun, to catch you off-guard with something like that."
Having gotten the shampoo out of Sulu's hair, he figured he should keep going and just reached back, fumbling a little, before grabbing some conditioner, shifting Sulu out of the water once more so he could start massaging it into his hair. "Hope you don't mind if I do. You sounded pretty interested in it earlier, after all..."
no subject
"I don't think I'd mind. At all." His smile quirked at the edges and he all but drawled, "I never really took you for the type of guy to be into surprise phone sex, though." Though that wasn't strictly true - he knew Ianto was really not nearly as polite and gentlemanly as his persona made him out to be. But, that was the best part. The fact that he'd never really expect it to happen just made the idea of it actually happening that much more intimate.

Ianto finished putting the conditioner in Sulu's hair and shifted so he was directly under the water again, massaging his hands through the other man's hair, though his pace was becoming seriously more relaxed, the closer he got to getting the conditioner out of Sulu's hair. He hadn't quite finished before he leaned forward, pressing another kiss to the other man's lips, a lazy one, his hand only barely working itself in his hair, as if his brain hadn't quite told it that it didn't need to be moving any more.
no subject
"You're plenty interesting," he said, smiling a bit into the kiss, "But the deviant behavior helps." His hands gripped at Ianto's arms, the water clearing the gel away, and then he brought his hand up to Ianto's neck, threading his fingers through his hair and feeling the grit there. "Think it's your turn," he mumbled, making a move for the shampoo.

He leaned against Sulu slightly, although he was careful not to lean too much, because he wasn't certain how sturdy the other man was on his feet in that moment. "I should probably be returning the favor and giving you a bit of a body wash too, then, shouldn't I..." he remarked, idly. Sighing, he tipped his head forward and pressed his forehead against Sulu's temple. "Maybe in a moment..."
no subject
Sulu really didn't mind if Ianto never got around to the bodywash stage of things - he felt clean enough, considering, and he was just as lethargic as Ianto seemed to be. The water was warm and the steam was helping unwind his nerves; if there'd been enough room for both of them to lie down, Sulu would have probably suggested that they did exactly that. "When I finish up here, we could go lie down, if you want?"
no subject
He sighed in response to Sulu's hands working through his hair, the motion lulling him into a further state of relaxation. He hummed slightly under his breath, his fingers tightening on Sulu's waist minutely. He always had liked Sulu's hands, after all, especially when they were on him, or playing with his hair. "The Enterprise might not run out of hot water, but if we're not careful, we're going to be the ones that run out of steam before too much longer."
no subject
"Last thing I want is for us to pass out here, though. Do you want me to go ahead with the conditioner, or should we save it for later?" he asked, leaning in to nuzzle against Ianto's jaw. He wouldn't normally have done it, but - he was tired and comfortable and all too ready for a nap with Ianto. It had felt like the appropriate motion for the state he was currently in.
no subject
"Mmm," he said, before taking in a deep breath and pulling his mind through the fog it was descending into to think. "I think that my hair can survive without conditioner for now," he said. "But you and I would not survive passing out in this shower, and since it looks like that's where we're headed...yeah. It can wait." He brought his hand up to cup the side of Sulu's face for a moment, turning to press a kiss against his cheek, before resting his head against Sulu's. "We should get out."
no subject
Truthfully, he wouldn't have minded staying in with Ianto even just a little bit longer, but he knew as well as Ianto clearly did that if they didn't get out right then, they probably wouldn't be able to later. He smiled at Ianto. "See, I know when to call things off," he said, laughing a little. "Even if that shower was more relaxing than the beach had been." It wasn't exactly true, but after everything they'd been through that day, it certainly felt it.

Ianto took his time toweling off his hair and the rest of him, knowing that they were going to be lying down in Sulu's bed and that he'd rather be as dry as he could be for that. "Feels nice, to be clean," he remarked, although it was followed by a yawn that he hadn't felt coming until it was forcing its way out of him. "Relaxing as the shower was, I'm looking forward to relaxing more with you..." he said, with a smile.
no subject
"We can leave the towels wherever," he said, slowly moving to head out to the bed, "We're going to have to wash everything anyway. I would just use the sonic shower, but I really don't want to risk any of the pollen sticking to our clothes afterwards." It was better to do it the old-fashioned way, when it came to pollens. He had sprays in his lab that would help, too. "But for right now - we've got a bed to relax in."
no subject
Approaching the bed, Ianto went to pull back the sheet, crawling in and scooting over to make room for Sulu before sprawling on his back, groaning slightly. "I never thought that just lying down in your pretty standard military bed would feel as amazing as it does right now," he remarked, idly.
no subject
For now, he was focused on climbing into bed with Ianto, practically falling into it. Without a moment's hesitation, he was spreading out, one of his arms snaking over Ianto's chest to hold onto him - both because he wanted to, and because he really didn't want to fall off the edge accidentally. After a moment, he drew a knee up to hook over one of Ianto's legs, shifting around a little to try and get comfortable. "I love my bed," he said, already sounding like he was ready to pass out. "Perfect for naps."
no subject
After a moment, though, he groaned. A nap. "We're going to need to set an alarm or something," he mumbled. "If we don't want to end up sleeping until I'm supposed to go back to Torchwood tomorrow, that is..." He had a feeling that they could probably manage it accidentally, and Ianto was looking forward to being able to enjoy the rest of the vacation, despite the fact that they were no longer on the vacation planet. That didn't mean that it was over yet, after all.
no subject
Sighing, he sat up. "Yeah, we really are," he decided, managing to pull himself out of bed and get his comm, setting it so that they would have a few hours of sleep before they got up. "That should do it," he sighed again, turning back to the bed and climbing in as quickly as he could. He tried to rearrange himself like he had been before he'd gotten up, too. "Hopefully that works, and we don't just sleep through it."
no subject
"I'll try my best to make sure we're up," he said, idly, his eyes falling shut again. "There's lots more to get up to. This vacation's not over yet, and besides. You just told me that there's a jacuzzi function on that tub, for one..." he mumbled, turning his head to yawn again. He was sure that they'd come up with more things to get up to later before, he was just too tired now that he was horizontal to remember much of them.
no subject
Sighing a little, Sulu closed his eyes. "Hopefully the alien planet thing wasn't too bad for you, all things considered," he said. "I promised you I'd take you. I'd just hoped there wouldn't be any running for our lives." He casually failed to comment on the sex pollen bit. Other than his allergies - well, it was definitely not so bad.
no subject
At the mention of the alien planet, though, Ianto shook his head. "No, not bad at all. I really liked the beach, and the jungle was nice until we had to start running. Terrified me out of my mind, that thing did, but I work for Torchwood." He smirked. "I'm used to big baddies chasing me and running for my life, anyway. And hey, all things considered, we got off pretty easy this time. Just had to jump off a cliff, is all..."
no subject
"I usually just hit it," he added with a yawn, "The comm, I mean. It usually works." Somehow. He was pretty sure he wasn't supposed to do that, but still, it was the easiest way to deal with the racket it made. Of course, it didn't always work... "But. We'll figure it out. You'll figure it out, I mean. Once we wake up..." The way his voice drifted at the end indicated just how close he was to passing out.
