[RL WITH SULU]
The past few days had been exciting ones, and definitely not in the way that Ianto would have predicted them to be when he'd first set foot on the boat. They should have known that there would be something wrong with this, but how were they to know that Sulu saying that nothing could go wrong after what they'd accomplished on the first night would come back to quite literally haunt them, as it were? Because there really was no denying it anymore. There'd been enough talk about what else had going on in other people's cabins enough to know that it wasn't just their suite. The whole ship was buzzing about it, and though everyone was reporting different things happening, there was really no doubt about it. Regardless of whatever was causing it, the place was haunted.
Ianto'd tried ignoring it. He'd tried rationalizing it, and any other number of things to keep from admitting that what they had were ghosts on their hands. There was really just no denying it anymore. What had started out as objects moving every once and a while, and strange sounds in the night had turned a lot more active over the next few nights, the hot water switching itself off as Ianto was showering, their suitcases emptied out all over the suite while they slept. Ianto'd made sure that the door had been locked each time, and had even taken to sleeping with the key in his shorts pocket, but it wasn't any use. The door hadn't been opening to let anyone in--whatever was happening in the suite, it wasn't coming from the outside.
What had started out as them trying to make the best of their vacation had ended up with, well, at least Ianto being very wary of his surroundings, and of what could possibly go wrong with them. As much as he'd like to initiate something more with Sulu, the idea that they would be watched while they did was...more than a little bit of a turn-off. He hoped that Sulu understood, as it was.
Sulu, for his part, seemed to be taking this whole ghost thing pretty hard. Because paranormal things were sort of right up Ianto's alley, considering that he worked for Torchwood and all, he was trying his hardest to be a good Torchwood officer, keep a level head for the other man, and not freak out at anything that might have otherwise given him pause. Sulu hadn't admitted to being frightened of these ghosts, but. Ianto could tell that he was definitely a lot less comfortable with the thought of them being around than even Ianto himself was. It was almost nice, to be able to be there for Sulu like he had to be because of these hauntings. Almost.

He immediately shifted to put his head under the spray, his one hand sliding up to Ianto's shoulder to rub at the muscles there while his other went to run through his hair. He wasn't necessarily a vain guy, but he didn't know anyone who liked their hair to be matted with blood. Hand still in his hair, he leaned in to kiss Ianto; now that they were in the shower, it seemed like he was back to taking things slow.

After a moment, Ianto pulled back from the kiss, pulling back far enough to look at Sulu, to watch the water running pink as he washed his hair out. Ianto brought up a hand to Sulu's head, brushing his fingers lightly against his temple, before threading them through Sulu's shower-soaked hair. It really was all healed, and pretty soon all the evidence that it'd ever happened would be gone, leaving him only with the memory of just how freaked out he'd been. He shook himself, not wanting to focus too hard on that. He could ruminate on all of that tomorrow, but for now, he just wanted to enjoy himself.
He smiled at Sulu. "Care to use any shampoo?" he asked, with a grin. "I'm afraid it's probably a lot girlier than whatever you're used to using, but. It'll probably work better than just water in getting all of the blood out, and well. I rather think it smells nice, at least." It was his shampoo after all. Of course, then Sulu would smell like it, but. That wasn't necessarily a problem, now was it?

He grinned back at Ianto's question, fingers digging lightly into the skin of Ianto's hips, "I think it smells nice too," he said distantly, still thinking about just how much he liked being just around Ianto. "Pass it over. Or are you going to do it for me, just in case the community missed something?" He... wouldn't be entirely opposed to that idea, that was for sure.

Ianto smiled at him, coyly. "Sure, why not," he said, flipping the bottle open and pouring some out onto his hands. "You've had a trying day, fighting all those inanimate objects and paranormal figures. Why not let me do the work, this time? he asked, with a smirk. "That is," he added, the cocky attitude he'd adopted momentarily gone, as he was seeking an actual true answer here, "if that's okay with you. You're free to do it yourself, if you'd rather. I just thought," he shrugged. "Might be nice, s'all."

It was a little jarring, sometimes, to notice the difference between Ianto's usual demeanor and the way he acted in situations like this, when they were being so intimate, but Sulu couldn't complain. He liked the two different sides. Ianto was so considerate, always double-checking to make sure Sulu was okay with whatever was going on, ready to come to his aid if he needed it, like he had with the ghost's attacks. And then he could turn around and shower with him, lean close and make something as simple as taking off a pair of jeans something sensual. "I promise," he said, "Anything you want, I want too."

"Alright, then," Ianto said, shifting so that Sulu wouldn't be standing under the direct spray of the shower head anymore, knowing that Sulu would move with him, would ant to stay close, the way they were before. He rubbed his hands together, working the shampoo into a bit of a lather before bringing up his hands to thread through Sulu's hair, massaging the shampoo into his scalp. He leaned forward, counting on Sulu to keep their balance as he leaned into him more than before, moving to kiss the corner of Sulu's jaw, all the while still working his hands through Sulu's hair.

As Ianto kissed his jaw, Sulu turned his head a bit, finding the other's lips blindly and brushing his own across them, lightly. He didn't know if Ianto was going to need him to rinse out the soap, or if he was going to keep him like this for as long as possible, and honestly, he wouldn't mind just staying like this until the hot water ran out - even if he needed to make sure his chest was clean.

Ianto kissed the corner of Sulu's mouth, smiling as he tasted shampoo on his lips. They were going to have to rinse it off before too much longer, so they could enjoy this moment a lot more. He worked his his hands over Sulu's shoulders as best he could, finding a knot in one that was probably the only remnant of Sulu's injury from previously that night, and slowly worked it out. After another moment, his hands stilled, and he just stood there, holding himself close to Sulu, reveling in the contact that he didn't know he needed quite as much as he did until he had it. "You should probably rinse that out, now," he said, softly, of course meaning the shampoo. He just didn't have the heart to move quite just yet.

Still. If they got out of here... Sulu began to brush water down his chest, to get the remnants of dried blood off his chest. He really didn't want to forget something as simple as that, being so caught up in Ianto.

He ran his hands over Sulu's chest, cleaning as best they could without stepping out of the direct path of the shower head again. It seemed to be doing the job, though, and pretty soon, any trace of the fact that Sulu'd had a pretty serious gash that had bled just about everywhere was gone with the water down the drain. Ianto leaned forward, closing the space in between them. "There," he said, ducking his head to kiss the side of Sulu's neck, speaking against the skin there, "good as new..."

"I need to thank you for all this," he said, and while the shower was definitely at the forefront of his mind, he realized that Ianto had been the one to drag him out of harm's way when he'd gotten a concussion from the decanter, and who'd dragged him away from the room once they'd broken through the door - once he'd broken through the door, really. Sulu really did owe Ianto, and now didn't seem too bad a time to mention that fact.

"I'm pretty sure that you've more than made up for this night's trials previously, with that whole handcuff virus," Ianto said, smiling slightly, tipping his head to the side, his eyes shut and his expression almost serene. "I mean. I may have had to drag you around tonight, but at least you stayed conscious the whole time, which is more than I can say of myself that one time before."
"Even still," he said, his smile widening, his voice sounding a bit coy, "if you have something in mind to do to thank me... I'm not going to try and convince you that you shouldn't."
no subject
He frowned momentarily at the memory before tilting his head to banish the thought, keeping his eyes closed against the water even as he leaned his head back a bit, opening them only when he knew he'd be looking at Ianto. "It wouldn't work," he said easily, "I'm too stubborn. But. I'm going to slip if I so much as try to push you into the wall there, and believe me, that's what I want to do right now, so... Maybe we'll have to wait until we're out of the shower, okay?"
no subject
"Ehm," he said, trying to thing of something to cover for himself, something that would change the topic of their conversation a little, but realized pretty quickly that he just wasn't coming up with anything. "I, uh, really only need a few moments under the spray, and then I'll be done, here," he said, explaining the facts, deciding that completely changing the topic was impossible anyway, especially when both of their minds would undoubtedly come right back to it.

Dragging his fingertips up Ianto's thigh, to his hip, he gently moved, sliding mostly, so that Ianto was the one under the water for the most part, instead of himself. He didn't kiss the other so much as he licked Ianto's lips, and said, "Just a few moments?"
no subject
"Don't get cocky with me, Lieutenant Sulu," he said, speaking against the other man's lips. "You're the one who suggested that we move this elsewhere. I'm not opposed to that plan, because really, I'd rather not see you crack your head open again tonight, and I could care less about where we end up, but I'm going to have to let go of you to get dried off, so. Yes. Another few moments like this."
no subject
Maybe Ianto actually wanted to rinse off, maybe he wanted to wash his hair and get clean before Sulu took him away from the shower, but Sulu found himself too impatient for that kind of thing. He'd apologize later, he figured, and for now he abandoned all pretense and any hope of teasing, hand sliding across Ianto's hips, shifting so that he could slip a hand between them and wrap it around Ianto. It was feather-light pressure, yeah, but he hoped it would encourage Ianto to get a bit of a move on. They had three nights to make up for, here, after all.
no subject
He moved a hand to run down Sulu's arm, the arm with the hand that was holding on to him. "I'll shut off the water, and we can get out of here, but you're going to have to let go first. I don't have near enough willpower to get you to move your hand, at the moment."

Ianto made a quick job of toweling his hair off, not really caring if it was a little bit mussed from the lack of attention that he was giving it. It wasn't like it was going to stay styled, even if he did bother with it at that moment. He dried the rest of himself off as well, making short work of that too, before turning to Sulu. "Alright, then," he said. "Let's go." He nodded toward his bedroom, blushing but grinning nonetheless. "You said you were going to thank me for tonight, yeah?"
no subject
"Not sure how, yet," he said easily, moving past Ianto, deciding that, as much as pushing the other into the counter sounded like a great idea, it probably wasn't going to be comfortable, and he wanted comfortable. His hand looped around the other's wrist and he tugged, pulling him along to the bedroom, half-facing him with a wide grin. "Any ideas?"
no subject
There were, well. There were a lot more options they had, now that they were back at Ianto's flat. A lot more things that Ianto kept around than they would have had stocked in the hotel there. Not that he particularly cared one way or the other what they ended up doing. Ianto just wanted to stick close to Sulu, to enjoy the other man, to have Sulu enjoy himself, and really just make the most of the last night of their vacation.
no subject
He pressed himself entirely against the other, his hands sliding across bare shoulders, one going up to thread through Ianto's mussed-up hair. The other, after brushing against the skin behind the other's ear, slid down to tug away their towels, tossing them aside carelessly as he ground up and into him. And maybe that was too fast, maybe he should be taking it slow, like he had before, but Sulu was almost expecting the ghostly presence from the ship and was instinctively trying to get as much out of the night before that happened.

Ianto wanted to say something along the lines of 'Please. I've been sleeping with Jack for the last year; I really don't think that I really even understand the words too soon anymore,' but. That would mean he'd have to stop kissing Sulu, and he really didn't want to do that. He flicked his tongue across Sulu's. Hopefully that would get the same sort of message across, instead.

Part of him still felt sick, like he was remembering a hangover from the night before, and he still felt a little triumphant because here he was, alone with Ianto at last, able to do things that no poltergeist could ever do. Not without being really creepy. He nearly laughed into Ianto's mouth at that, smiling and pulling away enough to say, quietly, "Don't know what I would've done without you."
