Ianto knew that Sulu knew he was blushing, he could hear it in the other man's tone of voice, and yet he did nothing to pick his head up from where he was hiding his face against Sulu's shoulder. Just because the other man knew that he was blushing didn't mean that it was suddenly an less embarrassing to be blushing in the first place. And of course Sulu was asking him to elaborate on his statement there. True, he had trailed off rather abruptly, but. That's generally what people did when they were trying to say something that they really couldn't get themselves to say out loud, they trailed off.
