[LOG WITH SULU][forward-dated to valentine's day]
Ianto had gotten back from Owen's birthday party and immediately gone to the fridge to get himself a lager. He had intended to leave early that night to sober up, but. He needed the alcohol. Needed the burn and the haze to get over the fact that he had just been talking to a friend that would be dead in a few months time. A friend who he'd watched die once already, and well. Yes, it was Valentine's day, and Sulu was coming over, but Ianto needed to wind down a little bit, and this was the only way he could think of accomplishing it fast enough.
He'd shucked his waistcoat and tie, glad that it wasn't nearly as warm there as it had been in Miami, and was laying sideways on his couch, nursing the beer and thinking about well. Everything really. More than anything, he was glad that the other man was coming over, so he could get his mind off of what he'd been fixating on for the past while. Owen's birthday being Valentine's Day...that was just damned awful timing, Ianto decided, and really hoped that him being upset about Owen wasn't going to ruin their evening.

And without the barrier of the condom between himself and the other man this time... Ianto threw his head back and let out a long, low moan before rocking his head forward again, breathing against Sulu's neck. Taking it slow, both because if he sped up, the pair of them probably would only last half a minute more at best, but also because... Ianto's emotions called for it, at that moment. Taking it slow; that intense, low, burning fire that he felt in the pit of his chest for the other man, hopefully being translated into his actions at that moment as he once more used his hands on Sulu's hips to work with the other man in slowly pulling back as much as he could before rocking his hips and thrusting upwards into the other man again, this time letting out a groan as he did so.

He pressed his knees against the couch cushions; his arms wrapped around the back of Ianto's neck and he leaned his forehead to rest against Ianto's cheek, breathing ragged as he focused all his energies on just keeping control. When Ianto pulled back, he shifted his weight, meeting him as he thrust forward, making a strangled noise he'd probably be embarrassed for if he was more aware of himself in that moment.

Ianto contemplated taking one of his hands off of Sulu's hips, wrapping it around Sulu's arousal and stroking it as he thrust, but. Honestly, Ianto didn't have enough coordination for that at the moment, and anyway, he needed the grip he had to keep the leverage to continue the way they were going. So Ianto decided to do the next best thing, and this time, after he pulled back as he had before, he twisted as he thrust, rolling his hips slightly, deliberately brushing against that spot that he knew might end it there and then, but. If that happened, he wouldn't mind, because. Honestly, it would probably take him too, he was that close.

He shifted, pulling up and off of Ianto, before letting himself settle against the other's chest and stomach. "Going to need a shower, sometime," he realized, yawning just a little. "And more wine," he added, because there weren't going to be a lot of times where wine would be fitting, he figured.

Groaning slightly, Ianto forced himself to lean forward and grab the wine, pouring the pair of them glasses before sitting back on the sofa, handing Sulu one of them. Never mind that the pair of them were sitting there naked on Ianto's sofa in the front room of his flat. "...cheers," he said, raising his glass to the other man with a lopsided smile.
no subject
"Cheers," he responded, ducking his head as he took a long sip of his wine, unable to keep from grinning a bit stupidly about the whole situation.

"Can you?" he responded, leaning forward to rest himself against Ianto's chest, realizing a little too late that he was all but curling up on the other's lap despite the fact that he wasn't at all tired. "Well. Anything to help you see how attractive it is can't be bad, I guess."

Ianto might have been drinking his wine too fast, or maybe it was the combination of that and the post-sex haze that was loosening his tongue, but he was feeling a lot bolder with what he was saying than normally, so. Might as well try and get the suave lines out before he completely bollocksed up the situation and all. "Mmm," he said, "I can see why people would go for it. It is rather charming and all. Although for me... I like the smile more," he said, meaning the bashful grin that Sulu had plastered across his face, as smoothly as he could despite the blushing and bashful smiling that he was doing as well.

Then again, she also said that he only ever smiled when he was up to something. Which, he supposed, wasn't too far from the truth, because he found his free hand tracing random patterns down Ianto's chest. "I thought you liked my hands, though," he said, managing to sound as casual as he could in their situation. He was going to need a few minutes to rebound, but hey. It wasn't like they got nights off like this often.

"I do like your hands," Ianto said, his voice a little softer, since, well. He really did like Sulu's hands, as evidenced by the fact that he was shivering slightly under the other man's touch. "That doesn't mean that I can't like other parts of you, though, does it?" he asked, coyly.
no subject
"I'd hope that you like other parts of me," he grinned, pressing a kiss to Ianto's jawline as he spoke. "After all, that's sort of an important part of a relationship. I think, at least." He wasn't even sure if they'd ever talked about what this was, in general, other than the time they'd addressed it before their first date. He wasn't even sure if now as a good time to bring it up, either, but hey. They were in a relationship, and that was all Sulu really needed to know.
no subject
"It is. An important part of a relationship, that is. Liking all the different parts." It was Ianto's turn to duck his head and blush this time (although he was generally the one to be doing that anyway). "So. Hopefully there are things that you like about me too. Besides the blush, that is..."
no subject
"I like your mouth, too," he added, voice dropping a little, "Everything about that is pretty nice, too." Especially when it tasted like wine; it was hard to resist kissing him normally, but now - well, he had no reason to resist. So he leaned over and kissed the other man, trying to not get carried away despite how hard it was not to.

Ianto pulled back after a moment, the taste of wine on his lips not only from his own drinking but also from the kiss, and his head spinning from it. "I'm glad," he said, his lips barely a hair's breadth away from the other man's. "Would be rather unfortunate if you didn't. I rather like kissing you, after all..." As if to prove a point, Ianto closed the distance between them, but rather than passionate like they'd been doing before, Ianto gave him the softest, most teasing kiss he could, barely even touching, before pulling back and smirking at him coyly.
no subject
"I'm glad," he said, pulling back, tilting his glass up and drinking the last of his wine without thinking about how he was supposed to drink it. "But I like other things, too, you know."
no subject
"Should I...should I ask what other things you might be talking about there, then?" Ianto asked, skirting about the subject yet making it very clear that he wanted to know. "Or... Are you going to be ambiguous about this and keep me guessing...?" Ianto blushed again, taking another sip of his wine. There were only really two swallows left; if only he could just tip it back like Sulu had.
no subject
Which was something he really wanted to do, more than anything. If only Ianto would finish his drink quicker...
no subject
"...'show me' what it is that you like about me...?" Ianto asked, half a question, half repeating Sulu's words back at him. He... He liked the sound of that. Liked it very much. He was pretty sure that he wanted to move upstairs if they were going to get into any showing, however. More space up there, for one. And the bed was more comfortable. The only issue was that they actually had to get there. And Ianto had to finish this wine...
no subject
He knew he was probably going at this a little over-zealously, but he was a little tipsy and very comfortable with their position, and maybe a little mellow and boneless from what they'd been up to previously. It was hard not to want to keep touching Ianto at this point, and he really wanted to make the most of the night they had together.
no subject
"I do like them," Ianto said. "I...especially like them when they're touching me. When you're touching me..." Ianto leaned forward, bringing his hand from Sulu's chest to cup his cheek and turn his head into a kiss. "You taste like wine," Ianto observed after a moment, pulling back to crook a smile at the other man as he did so.
