[RL WITH SULU][backdated to 03-20] Shoreleave: Part 2
Ianto had thought that one day on the planet had been exciting enough, but the prospect of another, when Sulu had mentioned it, had been too good to pass up. They'd had such a nice time on the beach, after all. It was only fair that they do a little exploring, let Sulu look for the alien plants that he would want to and get to watch the other man geek out about something for a while. Ianto himself had been embarrassingly excited about the planet and the beach and all the previous day, after all. It would be nice to be able to be the one to sit back and watch the excitement on someone else for a change, reverse roles from the previous day.
They hadn't gotten too early of a start. After all, this was a vacation for the pair of them, and it wouldn't do to have to wake up in the wee hours of the morning (if there were such a thing in space, Ianto didn't really even know). But they gave themselves the better part of the day, and after having a bite to eat (Ianto wasn't sure he would ever get enough of being fascinated with the replicators), and a quick stop by Ianto's flat for more clothes for him (he needed long pants if they might be venturing into the jungle, after all, it was only practical) they found themselves beaming down to the planet again, Sulu with his kit and Ianto with...well. The clothes on his back, really. He didn't really have anything to bring along himself, since they were mostly going to be exploring inland this time.
Ianto looked up at the clear blue sky above him, and smiled at the fact that even the weather seemed to have adjusted so that it was cool enough for him to be comfortable in jeans, but not too cool that it wasn't still pretty warm. "...god," he said. "It's like this place is gorgeous every day." He shot a smile sideways at Sulu. "Better not let me visit for many more days, I might want to stay," he joked.

The change in pace and Ianto's teeth against his skin made him shudder and moan; it was a quiet, thready thing, and despite the intensity of his desire for things to be hard and fast, he could already feel this working so much better. When Ianto pressed in against him, asking him if it was all right or not, he couldn't help but turn his head to kiss Ianto hard. "No," he managed to say, partially into Ianto's mouth.
no subject
Ianto kissed him back, deeply, tilting his head to get the right angle, before biting at Sulu's lower lip, gently. He kept his hand going slowly, steadily on Sulu's arousal, and he ran his finger over that spot as well, gently at first, and then pressing firmer. "Good," he said, against Sulu's lips. He wanted this to be good for the other man, and over-stimulating him definitely would not be the way to go about it.

He didn't realize it right away, but he was starting to babble against Ianto's mouth; some of the noises he made were just that, but he found himself saying, "Ianto, Christ. I love your accent. And your hands, I'm sorry it's taking so long but... but I'm so close." He tried to reinstate the deep kiss he'd broken to talk, but he couldn't help adding, "I really wish... wish that this - was a time I could just get off on your voice."
no subject
"If you could just get off on my voice, there'd be no stopping us," he said, roughly, figuring he might as well play up the sound of it, allowing his accent to get a little rougher as well. "Maybe we'll have to try it sometime. See if I can. See if the pair of us are up for the challenge." Ianto bit down where his mouth was for a moment, before releasing it and licking the spot gently. "Come on now, cariad," he urged him, "you're so close. I know we can get there. Just let yourself go..." Okay, so that didn't make a lot of sense. Ianto figured talking would help, though, and Sulu was so far gone he wasn't sure that that actually mattered anymore either.

"Always up to a challenge," he managed, "Always with you, God damn it," and the words nearly came out right there, but Sulu wasn't going to let this be that moment. No way. He could feel his whole body going tense, a bowstring pulled tight and he dug his nails in, not realizing it as his back arched. "Almost," he gasped, not wanting to even exhale in case the tension relaxed, because he knew it was going to break, soon, and hard, and he wanted it so much...
no subject
He didn't know what else he could do, so he kept up with what he was. "Then we'll definitely have to try it out sometime. You and me. I could even try it over the phone. While you're on a short break, if I'm feeling bad. Have you sitting there, thinking of me as you finish your shift, knowing what we'd done together, knowing that there's more where that came from, when you come back to me..." He growled slightly and leaned forward, pressing further against Sulu and nipping his earlobe, speaking softly and gruffly directly to him. "And that's a promise. You watch yourself, Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu..."
no subject
By the time he'd finished he was sagging in Ianto's lap, breath coming raggedly as he tried to reel himself in from the crash he was going through, wanting to go to sleep right then and there (and the mad part of him wanted to go jump around in the flowers some more, but he knew his body would never be able to handle it).
".....God." It was the most he could get out while panting, eyes dragging closed.
no subject
"Christ, that was..." He waited a little to finish his thought, so that Sulu could catch his breath a little more. "Are you alright?" he asked, gently. "I mean... Straight from the pollen to the sex and then..." Well. Sulu's troubles getting off,as it were. "That was pretty rough. Just tell me that you're alright, yeah?" He ducked forward and pressed a light kiss to Sulu's shoulder in front of his face, trying not to sound too worried as he posed the questions.
no subject
"M'alright," he mumbled, slurring slightly as he rested his head against Ianto's shoulder. "Mmn. G'nna definitely bring those back aboard," he added, his hand moving very slightly in the direction of the flowers.
no subject
"...maybe I should get the samples for you, instead. Since... Well, we left your kit over there in the field anyway." He looked to Sulu, running a hand slightly over his back. "D'you really think that's a good idea, though? I mean. Bringing something quite as potent as that back with you, especially considering..." He took a breath. "God, you must really be allergic to it..."
no subject
With a quiet groan, he shifted in Ianto's lap, lifting his arms to wrap them around the other's shoulders so that he could do some of his own supporting. "How're you?" he asked, though it almost sounded like he wanted to finish it with "still awake."
no subject
Ianto shifted his arms around Sulu when the other man shifted in his lap, not feeling much like getting up quite just yet. He shrugged at Sulu's question. "Me? I'm fine. I'm... God, you really had me worried there a few times, but. Now that you're alright, I'm..." He chuckled slightly. "That...was pretty fantastic, the parts of it that didn't have me scared half to death."
no subject
He paused and considered the other point Ianto had raised before shrugging slightly, too boneless to really move. "Think you can dig one'r two up by the roots."
no subject
He sat there for a moment more, just breathing and holding onto Sulu. It was becoming pretty obvious, especially from the 'everythin' is fiiiine', that Sulu was about ready to pass out on him right then and there. Although he didn't want to get up, if he waited for too much longer, Sulu might not be able to keep himself awake enough to request the transport back, and Ianto himself sure as hell didn't know how to do it. "Hey," he said, moving a hand to stroke Sulu's cheek, pulling back slightly to make sure he'd gotten his attention. "We should get a move on. Will you be alright if I leave you here to go get your kit and those samples for you?" He smiled gently. "I can count on you not to suffocate yourself in the sand or drown yourself in the ocean while I do, yeah?"
no subject
As Ianto pulled him back slightly, he groaned and closed his eyes briefly before opening them, the sleepy fog clearing as he fixed Ianto with a solid look. "I did not go through all of that just to choke myself to death with sand or water, Mr. Jones," he said, over enunciating where he was trying to correct for any slur he might've had.

But, more importantly, he wanted Ianto to be safe, and though he was sure the other could handle another, smaller dose of pollen, he wouldn't want to risk it. So, he stared up at the sky and added, "There's a trowl in the kit. And sample bags. Just need one of them, I guess."
no subject
Getting the sample wasn't too hard. He found the trowel and dug one out, putting it in a sample bag, pausing, before double-bagging it and sticking it in the kit. He had to take a breath as he picked up their clothes, knowing that he'd be alright with just having breathed that, before he made his way back to the shore. He didn't let himself breathe normally until he was safe on the sand again.
"Got it," he said. He shook Sulu's clothes, getting as much pollen as he could off of them, before he handed them back to him. "Here," he said, quietly. "Might want to put these back on before we beam back aboard, yeah?"
no subject
He frowned, then, looking around, "...And I wish today had gone better. Sorry, about all that." He looked to Ianto, "But, I'm ready when you are."
no subject
He squeezed Sulu's hand again, before nodding. "But yeah. I'm ready to go back, get settled in, have a more relaxing rest of the day, if it's all the same to you...?" he said, with a little smile.
no subject
Still, that wouldn't matter too much, since he was sure he could find another pair to pick as his favorite. So long as he didn't inhale any more pollen, he'd be fine. "Here, let's get going. I think we both deserve it, after being chased off a cliff and my nearly choking to death, right?"
no subject
What with the fact that he was probably covered in sand and pollen and salt water, though, the idea of a nice warm shower sounded pretty good to Ianto himself. "Think you can make it through a shower without falling asleep?" he teased, gently, although he was half serious. Sulu looked absolutely knackered, he thought.
no subject
He commed the transporter room once he was sure they'd both gotten everything they'd brought with them, and once he gave over their location, it was only a matter of moments before they were being beamed back aboard the ship. He immediately put a steadying hand on Ianto - though he was a little wobbly himself, so maybe it was more for his benefit than the other's - and shot the engineers in charge a look. It clearly explained that nobody should ask why they looked haggard, were sopping wet and covered with white pollen and sand, and it wasn't until they got out of the room that he heard gossiping start, thankfully.
no subject
"You're going to be alright with the samples sitting in your room?" he asked. "I mean, I double-bagged it. I don't know whether that actually helped or not, but. You're going to have to wash this bag as well, to get the pollen off completely. And...well. We're probably going to need to find me a spare change of clothes as well." It wouldn't do, to have to change back into these sandy, wet, pollen-covered things after he'd cleaned and rested up. He'd be staying until Sulu kicked him out, or his vacation was over, and he had until the next day to return to work, so. He wasn't planning on leaving the other man any sooner than that. Granted. They did have the portkey, which went back to his front entry. They could just go back with him naked, but. He wasn't too sure about that yet.
no subject
He couldn't help but smile a little as Ianto mentioned needing a change of clothes, shrugging. "I could always pop over to your place and get you some. Or," he continued, feigning casualness, "We could just not get dressed again until you have to leave." Which wasn't a bad idea. It wasn't like they had anything to do, after all. Definitely no more planet hopping for the day, and really, they could get food any time they wanted. They really didn't have to get dressed again, and Sulu was maybe a little interested in it now that he'd suggested it. He doubted Ianto would go for it, though.
