[LOG WITH SULU][forward-dated to valentine's day]
Ianto had gotten back from Owen's birthday party and immediately gone to the fridge to get himself a lager. He had intended to leave early that night to sober up, but. He needed the alcohol. Needed the burn and the haze to get over the fact that he had just been talking to a friend that would be dead in a few months time. A friend who he'd watched die once already, and well. Yes, it was Valentine's day, and Sulu was coming over, but Ianto needed to wind down a little bit, and this was the only way he could think of accomplishing it fast enough.
He'd shucked his waistcoat and tie, glad that it wasn't nearly as warm there as it had been in Miami, and was laying sideways on his couch, nursing the beer and thinking about well. Everything really. More than anything, he was glad that the other man was coming over, so he could get his mind off of what he'd been fixating on for the past while. Owen's birthday being Valentine's Day...that was just damned awful timing, Ianto decided, and really hoped that him being upset about Owen wasn't going to ruin their evening.

Still, he couldn't help but lean in a bit, grin turning a little sly as he said, "Though, I'm pretty sure you've got some tricks up your sleeves when it comes to this whole romantic thing." Which wasn't exactly as smooth or as well-phrased as Jack might've said it, but Sulu wasn't trying to be particularly smooth.

He'd have to wait until Ianto put down his glass, though. He wasn't about to go spilling their drinks everywhere, that was for sure. "I wouldn't be against it," he replied, leaning back again and taking a sip of his own wine, nearly laughing at the fact that they were both sort of trying to out-suave each other. That was just ridiculous. But, he'd hold it together. He could do that.

"No," said Ianto, settling back as well and turning to look at Sulu, raising an eyebrow in challenge as he looked at the other man from over the rim of his wineglass, "I don't suppose you would be. People generally aren't against such things..."

"I wouldn't know," Ianto said, pulling out all the stops to make sure he didn't crack. "Said tricks aren't really anything that I might be able to perform on myself, unfortunately..." He trailed off, being intentionally pretty vague, there.
no subject
So, that's exactly what he did - even though his mind was suddenly wondering just what kinds of tricks Ianto might have, and maybe if he could do them himself... yeah. He could focus on something other than his imagination for a minute. "Yeah...?" ...Okay, maybe not. He chewed his lip briefly, not realizing that a clear glass wasn't going to hide that move really, and then added, "Well. That's okay - I'd be glad to help you show off, in that case."

God, he'd...had a bit more to drink than he'd really anticipated having done in the first place. Not that he was drunk, but. He was definitely more than a little bit comfortably tipsy. Tipsy enough to sit back and continue on talking. "Who knows. If you enjoy it, then you might even get a repeat performance," he said, unable to help the little smirk that came with those words, there.

"Then you," Ianto said, his voice going lower and rougher, more accented, the way that he knew Sulu liked it, as he looked the other man square in the eyes, "Hikaru Sulu, are a very lucky man indeed."
no subject
His eyes were lidded when he pulled back, just barely, his mouth quirked in a smirk. "I know I'm lucky," he murmured, "I've got you, after all."

So Ianto brought his hands up and grabbed Sulu by the lapels of his jacket, tugging him close to him, his mouth crashing against Sulu's. It was enough to pull Sulu off balance and Ianto wasn't steady enough to hold them both up, so the went backwards, Ianto's head knocking against the arm of the sofa slightly, but not any harder than to just be jarring for a few moments.
no subject
"Good job," he managed to say, already bringing both hands up to either side of Ianto's face, steadying himself on his knees as he kissed the other, taking advantage of Ianto's moment of weakness.

Lying back as he was against the sofa was awkward, so Ianto pushed himself up to sit up a little more, shifting underneath the other man but not moving away at all. Sulu had played along with his little battle of witticisms there, and might have possibly won, and that was so much of a turn-on for Ianto in that moment. That, and the jacket.

He wondered if he should make motions towards dragging Ianto up to his bed, but... Sulu couldn't help but think that the couch was as good a place as any to make out with the other man.

Ianto's hand on Sulu's cheek slid back to rest on the back of the other man's neck, resting there, holding him in place, as he flicked his tongue into the other man's mouth, tasting the sweetness of the wine there, making a little noise of pleasure at it. Oh no, he wasn't letting this man go anywhere anytime soon.

Shifting on his knees, Sulu brought himself closer to Ianto, moving to straddle him and eliminate more of the distance between them. Finally, though, he had to pull away, breathing heavily and moving to kiss and nip at Ianto's earlobe.

So Ianto hooked his other hand under Sulu's jacket as well, going up around his shoulders and pulling, tugging at it, making it very well known that this jacket was coming off, and it would only be the first thing in a list of more items of clothing to come off. It was Valentine's Day, damn it, and Ianto was tipsy, and more than a little eager.
no subject
Once it was gone, though, he immediately put his hands on Ianto's shoulders and leaned down, kissing him slowly. He was eager as well, but he wanted to take his time with this, too.
no subject
He was glad when Sulu finished however, not even watching where the jacket ended up, only concerned with the fact that Sulu was back to touching him again. He was okay with taking it slow. They had the time, after all. He had to keep reminding himself that much, however. It was hard to keep in mind through the slight haze of alcohol when everything inside of him was urging him forward, faster. He kissed Sulu back, languidly, his fingers for the moment apparently content where they were in his belt loops, though. They did have the time to take it slow, after all.
no subject
Still, he didn't want to push Ianto from arousal to frustration, so he shifted, pressing his hips against Ianto as best he could in his position, nipping at Ianto's lower lip as he did so. He was taking his time, sure - but that didn't mean e wasn't very interested in moving this forward.

He turned his head slightly, pressing a kiss against the corner of Sulu's mouth, almost on his cheek, his eyes falling shut as he did so.
